Monday, Oct. 18th grade University field trips
Tuesday, Oct. 2: Materials needed: Conference sheets; STAR reading scores; Collections book Tonight, Tuesday, and tomorrow, Wednesday are parent teacher conferences. Unfortunately I will not be here due to surgery recovery, so students are responsible for holding a student led conference with their parents. Hand out the conference sheets. Read through the self-evaluation sections with them. Have them fill out everything that they can, and mentally prepare to discuss the questions that they can’t easily fill in. Staple the STAR reading scores to the paper. (Ask Carol Nielsen room 112 about STAR scores.) These conferences should be held at home. All students should turn in a signed conference sheet. Conference sheets are due on Monday, October 15, 2018. After discussing the conference sheets read “Bonne Annee” from the Collections book pp 31-36. When finished, have students discuss the following question with their table partner, and write their answer. They will only need to turn in one paper for the two of them, but they need to put both names on the paper. Remind them to
Wednesday, Oct. 3: Materials needed: Collections book Finish “Bonne Annee” assignment from Tuesday. Collect their writing and put in the stacking trays behind the teacher desk. Have students read, and reread their scenes for Anne Frank. Thursday, Oct. 4: Materials needed: Chrome books, “Behind the Numbers” worksheet Put “Behind the Numbers” worksheet on front table Give the following instructions:
